Our Underwater Photography Super-Course is intended for the beginner to intermediate level underwater photographer. It concentrates on digital cameras utilizing underwater housings.
The course includes: underwater photography basics, and intermediate skills including macro and wide-angle lenses. It also includes hands-on practice in the use of filters, strobe lights, and video lights.
While the emphasis is on underwater photography, this course also includes sessions in video. Why? Because although photographs are the most challenging to capture, almost every underwater photographer will also takes some type of video. Often it ranges from just 5-10 second short snips of action to longer full-length video.
The course fee of only $1599 includes 10 dives over 5 days, instruction, printed course materials, and more. Bring your own camera and housing or purchase one of our Photo-Student Camera Packages. We have rental video lights and strobes or bring your own. The camera package includes everything you need to begin improving your skills and the quality of your photographs. Including digital camera, housing, tray, arms, filter, and wide-angle lens. Key Largo Dive Center is a dealer for Ikelite, Light & Motion, FantaSea and Kraken. You can even use a housing with your smart phone if you desire. We can help you set up the perfect beginner or intermediate level underwater imaging package.
Taught entirely in Key Largo by our photo staff, you will be diving and photographing various subjects under varying conditions of lighting and visibility while emphasizing environmental friendliness. This includes being aware of your buoyancy, avoiding contact with the reef, and minimizing stress to fish, corals, and invertebrates that we photograph.
What Is Included:
The course includes classroom sessions, in-water photo sessions, dive boat fees, and course textbook.

This course does not include air travel or ground transportation, lodging (many options available from our referral list), cameras, housings, accessories, meals, or anything not specifically stated as included in our course student contract.
