Meet the crew of the Key Largo Diver II and Key Largo Dive Center Staff.

The goal of each and every one of us is to ensure that you have a 5-Star Experience in and out of the water.

Captains

Boat Captain, USCG Licensed 100 Ton Master, NAUI Instructor Trainer, SEI Instructor Trainer, PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

Captain Larry was certified by Los Angeles County, NASDS, and NAUI in 1973. He is a TDI Technical Diver, NAUI and SEI Instructor Trainer & PADI Master SCUBA Diver Trainer, KLDC Chief Instructor, International Dive Travel Manager, Digital Underwater Imaging Instructor, Emergency First Response & AED Instructor and KLDC General Manager. He is the Chief Captain of our dive boat and is a USCG Licensed 100-Ton Master. With over 5,000 logged dives he has dived extensively around the world including the South Pacific, Indonesia, Galapagos, Caribbean, Fiji, California, Ft Lauderdale and the Florida Keys.

Captain Jon

Boat Captain. USCG Licensed 100 Ton Master, PADI Divemaster.

Capt Jon was first certified as a diver by PADI in 1996.

He has dived extensively around the world including Australia, South Pacific, Indonesia, Caribbean, Fiji, North Carolina, and the Florida Keys. He has logged over 600 dives.

Dive Gear: Atomic T3 regulator w/B2 Octo, Dive Rite Transpac, Perdix dive computer, Atomic Subframe mask, Atomic Blade fins, and Bare wetsuits.

Instructor Terry

PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Terry is a long time diver, instructor, and former dive shop owner in Michigan. After retiring from the dive shop business he moved to South Florida and quickly adapted to warm water diving. He has logged over 5,000 dives throughout the Caribbean and the Florida Keys and currently serves as a Scuba Instructor, Divemaster, Dive Guide, and Dive Boat Crewmember.

Divemaster Max

PADI Divemaster, NAUI Divemaster

Max obtained his first dive certification from the YMCA in 1970. He became a PADI Divemaster in 1982 and has logged over 3000 dives. He became a NAUI Divemaster in 2022. He serves as a Divemaster, Dive Guide, and Dive Boat Crewmember. Max has dived extensively in the South Pacific, Indonesia, Caribbean, and the Florida keys.

Divemaster Jean-Michel

PADI Divemaster

Jean-Michel is an avid scuba diver and retired Master Chef. He became a PADI Divemaster in 2020 after a very successful culinary career. In addition to his Divemaster duties he serves as dive boat crew and underwater photographer. He as dived extensively throughout the Caribbean and Florida Keys.

Erika T.

PADI Master Scuba Diver

Erika is the Retail Sales Manager of Key Largo Dive Center. She also is the Chief Buyer and a Dive Gear Evaluator. She also serves as an International Dive Travel Coordinator for the KLDC Dive Team. She has been an active certified diver since 2013 and has dived many international destinations including the South Pacific and Caribbean, Galapagos Islands, Fiji, and Indonesia.

Erika C.

Open Water Scuba Diver

Erika is an Open Water Scuba Diver and is interested in working her way up through Instructor. She supervises the Dive Center, is an avid underwater photographer, and supports the dive crew.
