This course is NOT intended for divers who are so far out of dive currency that they require additional formal training in order to achieve the competency and proficiency level of their certification.
The PADI ReActivate program can be taken to refresh basic SCUBA knowledge and skills for divers certified through either PADI or non-PADI training organizations. Proof of entry-level SCUBA certification with a minimum of four open water training dives is required.
The program has two components: 1) a knowledge review that includes interacting with ReActivate eLearning and 2) a dive skills refresher you complete with a PADI Professional. After successfully completing both components, a PADI Diver receives a replacement certification E-card showing a “ReActivated Thru” date. Divers initially certified through other training organizations (with proof of at least an entry-level certification) receive ReActivate Recognition E-Cards. The ReActivate Recognition E-Card is not a certification card. It only identifies that the diver’s dive knowledge and entry-level skills have been refreshed.

The PADI ReActivate course consists of a PADI eLearning session prior to your arrival. After checking in at the dive shop, you’ll be prompted to complete the ReActivate Quick Review followed by a 1-2 hour pool session with an Instructor.
